A Day in the Park

The magic started as I was taking Zeke to school...behind a Moving Truck with Indiana license plate which happened to expire in April (my brother's birthday month) and with the letters 'pwr' - which meant POWER to me...Andy's message to me for the day. It's been a long road this past year!! So many lessons...this day the lesson seemed to be the power in surrender. Setting the intention and then letting go of any attachment to a specific outcome. All day miracles were shown to me regarding the intention I had set. It was beautiful to feel and powerful to witness! By days end...I had just finished a strong, 18 mile ride I like to do in the evening and was cooling down with a walk around the park where we live...and there was a painter, with her work spread out and a small sign which said "Traveled across America on 13 cents and a bag of paint from N.Y. to Portland, OR for Love." That caught my eye, as well as one of the paintings she had done of Tanner Springs Park where we live. I new it needed to hang on our wall, as it represents a new journey for the kids and I in urban living and a new way of life. She was a true 'sista' immediately...we speak same language...the language of a universal quest for all that has meaning and adventure in life through trust, integrity and most importantly music and LOVE!!
